All of our students at Wesley are special and talented in some way. God has blessed each of us with tremendous gifts and potential, each unique and designed to shine at designated moments in our lives.
At times, we like to recognize and congratulate some of the special accomplishments that some of our students achieve outside of their studies at Wesley.
During March Break, Tillerson, one of our Grade 1 students, participated in the CKNA (Cup Karts of North America) Spring Nationals, a competitive go kart competition, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This six year old started competitive go karting when he was in JK at Wesley. It was an extension of his passion for cars. With this love and some determination, he was able to achieve a top 10 finish at the race, placing 9th overall!
Racing against older competitors from Canada and the U.S. was a great learning experience, which he will take to his next major racing event at Mont Tremblant, Quebec, on June 14-16.
Congratulations and stay safe!
