This school year, the focus of our elementary division is to encourage students to display CRISP (Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Servant’s Heart, Perseverance) behaviours. On Tuesday afternoon, we held our Term 2 CRISP Celebration to recognize students that displayed outstanding CRISP behaviour throughout the term. Before each award, Mrs. V led the students to review each characteristic. The audience read the expected behaviours and the corresponding memory verse. Some even recited the verses without looking at the screen!
After the CRISP Awards, there was a Wesley Wildfire Sports update. Each of our four basketball teams went on stage as their respective coaches gave a short summary of how their tournament played out. Ribbons and Encourager Awards are given to teams that finish in fourth place or higher at the ACSI tournaments.
