ELC Christmas Concerts – 2024

On Friday, December 13th, our ELC division put on two different Christmas performances for friends and family. Mrs. Scott, our ELC Supervisor, welcomed everyone to the school gymnasium. Our first group of students on stage was the PK1 class. Every student was dressed in costume to tell the Christmas story. After doing some actions to a few Christmas songs, the PK2 class entered the scene and joined the PK1s. The stage was filled with more shepherds, wisemen, angels, animals and Christmas music!

After their finale, the PK students exited the stage and our youngest students, the Toddler 1 class melted the hearts of the audience as they sat neatly in a row in their adorable matching Christmas star costumes trimmed with gold garlands. They charmed the audience with their cute smiles and rhythmic jinggling to various Christmas songs.

Even before our Toddler 2 class started their performance, you could sense the festive mood just based on their costumes. Each student wore a letter…spelling the words Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la… Parents and grandparents were so proud to see their students enthusiastically jingling and doing the actions to their Christmas music!!!

Later in the afternoon, our Junior and Senior Kindergarten students performed their version of the Christmas story. The were traditional costumes but some modernized dialogue, especially during the SK skits. There was even a duet of “Away in a Manger”.

For the grande finale, approximately 92 JK and SK students appeared on stage together and sang “Joy to the World!” to end a very memorable and special evening!
