Meet Wesley’s Sport Stacker Sisters!

All of our students at Wesley are special and talented in some way. God has blessed each of us with tremendous gifts and potential, each unique and designed to shine at designated moments in our lives.

At times, we like to recognize and congratulate some of the special accomplishments that some of our students achieve outside of their studies at Wesley. Today, we want to introduce you to two sisters, one in Grade 4 and the other in Grade 3. They are fierce sport stacker competitors. As some may not be familiar with this sport, here is a definition from Wikipedia,

Sport stacking, also known as cup stacking or speed stacking, is an individual and team sport that involves stacking 9–12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences as quickly as possible. The cups are specially designed with holes to allow for air to pass through. Participants of sport stacking stack cups in specific sequences by aligning the inside left lateral adjunct of each cup with that of the next. Sequences are usually pyramids of 3, 6, or 10 cups. Players compete against the clock or another player.

Our two sisters have been competing at various local and online competitions. They have done so well that they were recently invited to participate in the World Sport Stacking Association 2025 AAU Junior Olympic Games Sport Stacking Championships which will take place in Houston, Texas, at the end of July 2025!

Congratulations to our two amazing sport stacker sisters!
