Today’s ELC Chapel Service – November 22, 2024

This morning, the PK2 class led the worship. Representatives from the class (and Ms. Xiang) led the pledges, O Canada and the Lord’s Prayer.

Mrs. Goco led some action filled singing with the songs: Jambo, Ha la la la, and Jesus Loves Me.

She then shared a short message about our “Firm Foundation”. She began by explaining that a foundation is usually something that we build a house on. She started by using a soft stuffie toy as a foundation for a few Lego duplo blocks. By the time she put the second block on, the other one fell off. Next, she tried putting the blocks on some “grass”. She managed to stack 6 blocks. At the end, she pulled out a Lego base plate. She was able to stack more than 7 blocks! She explained that when we make good choices, we are building our lives on Jesus, who is strong like the base plate.

Next, the students sang “Stand on the Rock” and “Firm Foundation” with all the actions. Mrs. Goco closed in prayer, thanking God for setting a firm foundation in Jesus and asking God to help each of us make right decisions each day.
